Over a 4 month period and large crew of abseilers conducted a builders clean of the façade and a restoration clean of damaged glass from concrete staining. This involved pressure cleaning large sections of the façade to remove concrete dust from the window joins of the panels, then a product called CL40 Cleaner was used to remove the staining from the glass surface. This product was selected because of its non corrosive nature. It would not harm either our rope equipment nor the building façade and reduced the amount of PPE required for the workers. It is a water based product that uses nano technology to remove the staining from the glass surface. The whole building was then again squeegee cleaned, giving an excellent result for the building owner.
