Installation of structural steel work to the façade.

During the construction phase of this building, structural steel was craned into position while abseilers corodiated by radio with the crane driver to position each section of steel. Procision was critical as each section needed to be slotted inside the other before bolts fixed the steel in place. After steel sections were installed abseilers flashed around the penitration with composite panelling. Glass was then installed to the outside of the steel creating a chimney effect. Works were completed ahead of time with no complications which included an onsite inspection by ACT WorkCover.
